We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Our returns process is straightforward and fully compliant with the EU Consumer Rights Directive.
Your right of withdrawal
You have 14 calendar days from the day you receive your order to withdraw from the contract, without giving any reason. This is your statutory right under EU law and applies regardless of any additional policies we may offer.
How to initiate a return
- Email support@portaspliteu.com with your order number and the reason for your return
- We will confirm receipt of your withdrawal notice within 2 business days
- Pack the item securely in its original packaging with all accessories and documentation
- Ship to the return address we provide β you are responsible for the cost of return shipping
- Use a tracked courier service; we are not liable for items lost or damaged in transit back to us
Condition of returned items
To qualify for a full refund, returned products must be:
- In their original, undamaged packaging
- Complete with all included accessories, manuals, and components
- Free from signs of installation, modification, or deliberate damage
- Not used beyond what was reasonably necessary to assess their nature and functioning
If a returned item is in diminished condition, we reserve the right to deduct a proportional amount from your refund to cover loss in value.
Refund timeline
- We process refunds within 14 days of receiving the returned item
- Refunds are credited to the original payment method used at checkout
- Bank or card issuer processing may add a further 3β5 business days
Defective or non-conforming products
If your product arrives damaged or develops a fault within the 2-year EU legal guarantee period, please contact us immediately. We will arrange repair, replacement or a full refund at no cost to you, including return shipping for valid claims.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The 14-day withdrawal right does not apply to:
- Products that have been installed, permanently modified, or used beyond reasonable inspection
- Products with broken seals that cannot be returned for hygiene or health protection reasons
- Items clearly outside their original, saleable condition due to customer handling
