Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern purchases made through portaspliteu.com, operated by MA.TI. COSTRUZIONI SRL. By placing an order you confirm that you have read and agreed to these terms in full.

Company information

Seller: MA.TI. COSTRUZIONI SRL, an authorised Midea sales partner operating in the European market. Customer contact: support@portaspliteu.com.

Products

We sell two Midea PortaSplit models: PortaSplit Cool (cooling only) and PortaSplit Cooling & Heating. Product specifications, images and descriptions are provided in good faith. Midea reserves the right to update product specifications without prior notice.

Order placement and acceptance

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. Acceptance occurs when you complete payment via the myPOS link we send you.

  • Maximum 1 unit per order
  • Each order must contain only one product type (mixing models in the same transaction is not supported)
  • We sell to private consumers and sole traders within the EU/EEA only
  • We reserve the right to cancel orders due to payment failure, stock shortages or suspected fraud

Pricing and payment

All prices are in euros (€) and include applicable VAT. Payment is processed securely through myPOS. We accept major credit and debit cards.

You will receive a dedicated payment link after checkout. Your card details are handled solely by myPOS and are never stored on our servers.

Delivery

  • Free standard delivery to all EU/EEA countries
  • Estimated delivery: 5–7 business days from payment confirmation
  • You will receive a tracking number once your order is dispatched
  • Delivery is to the address provided at checkout β€” please ensure it is accurate
  • Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the specified address

Free setup guidance service

Every purchase includes a complimentary on-site setup guidance session. This is an advisory service to walk you through the standard no-drill PortaSplit setup described in the Midea manual β€” it is not a permanent installation or an HVAC/plumbing service.

  • Guidance is provided by trained advisors familiar with the PortaSplit system
  • You remain solely responsible for complying with local building regulations, condominium rules and landlord permissions
  • We accept no liability for regulatory non-compliance by the customer

Right of withdrawal

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 calendar days of receiving your order, without giving any reason.

  • Notify us by email at support@portaspliteu.com within 14 days of delivery
  • Return the product in its original, undamaged condition and packaging at your cost
  • We will refund the full purchase price within 14 days of receiving the returned goods

The right of withdrawal does not apply to products that have been installed, modified, or used beyond what was necessary to assess their nature and functioning.

Legal guarantee of conformity

Under EU law, all products carry a legal guarantee of conformity for at least 2 years from delivery. If a product is defective or not as described, we will repair, replace or refund at no cost to you, including return shipping for valid claims.

Intellectual property

"Midea" and "PortaSplit" are trademarks of Midea Group Co., Ltd. Their use on this website reflects our status as an authorised sales partner only and does not imply endorsement beyond that relationship.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability is limited to the price paid for the product in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights under EU law.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Italian law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Italian courts, unless mandatory EU consumer protection law provides otherwise.

The EU Online Dispute Resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr for out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes.
